Subjectkernel 2.4.14 & memory

Hello,
	I have Pentium 4 with 1 GB RAM and kernel 2.4.14 (rh 7.2)

	When I set high memory offf then Linux can't see complete memory

This is my /proc/meminfo :

Where is 147 mb RAM ?

If I set high memory on then BIOS see  917000KB, even.
