I'm hearing rumours about my University wanting to set up a cluster with AMD Athlon XP+DDR computers, so I wonder what chipset is most stable under Linux? I assume it's the AMD DDR chipset, but I want to be pretty sure. Btw, do compilators currently optimize for the third floating-point unit in Athlon XP processors? _____________________________________________________ | Martin Eriksson <nitrax@giron.wox.org> | MSc CSE student, department of Computing Science | Umeå University, Sweden - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-kernel" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html Please read the FAQ at http://www.tux.org/lkml/ | ||||||||||||
