No, it hasn't.
A version with a workaround is at
ftp://ftp.sw.com.sg/pub/Linux/people/saw/kernel/v2.3/
It has been submitted it to Linus, but wasn't included in the kernel.
I'll try to work more on this problem this weekend and submit the new code.
