    what's your definition of "a long time".

    some development work that i've been doing against 2.4.0-test3-pre4 shows
    that shm segments are most definitely lost and/or return to free verrrry
    slowly.
    (i'll be upgrading to test6-pre7 soon and if its still broken will advise)
