ok, the workaround is to do
cat isaiah.cdda.raw | lame -h -r - isaiah.mp3
because cat(1) opens it with O_LARGEFILE.
And, yes, it did work before (without cat, just plain lame(1)) - because Psalms is 2.6G and I do have a ready mp3 file which produced by the same script (but under ac18 kernel)
