Well...it's awfully hard to tune it when I can't boot because the laptop
hangs on the partition check with lost interrupt and never comes back. If I
disable the dma by default option, then I don't have the PIIX tuning option
any more.

/dev/hda is my device. It is my ext2 filesystem.
