Small bug:
root@dark pocket# mount ./root ../pocket-1/ -o loop fatfs: bogus cluster size VFS: Can't find a valid MSDOS filesystem on dev 07:01. kernel BUG at block_dev.c:426! invalid operand: 0000 CPU: 0 EIP: 0010:[<c0132039>] EFLAGS: 00010282 eax: 0000001f ebx: c10e2120 ecx: c0238418 edx: c0238418 esi: 00000701 edi: ffffffea ebp: c03ec1a0 esp: c1c9bf50 ds: 0018 es: 0018 ss: 0018 Process mount (pid: 2456, stackpage=c1c9b000) Stack: c01fd747 c01fd8f9 000001aa 00000000 c0130cf3 c10e2120 c28137e0 00000000 00000000 c1c9bfbc c023be20 c28137e0 07010ae0 c0131204 c10e2120 08059530 080594e8 c28133e2 00000000 c1851000 c1c9a000 c0ed0000 08059520 c10e2120 Call Trace: [<c01fd747>] [<c01fd8f9>] [<c0130cf3>] [<c28137e0>] [<c28137e0>] [<c0131204>] [<c28133e2>] [<c01094d4>] Code: 0f 0b 83 c4 0c 89 f6 8b 53 04 8b 03 89 50 04 89 02 53 a1 60 Naruszenie ochrony pamięci root@dark pocket# uname -a Linux dark 2.3.51 #8 Mon Mar 13 19:12:19 CET 2000 i586 pld root@dark pocket#
,,root'' file is (I simply forgot to decompress it 8): misiek@dark new15$ file pocket/root pocket/root: gzip compressed data, deflated, original filename, last modified: Tue Mar 14 21:46:24 2000, max compression, os: Unix [misiek@dark new15]$ cp pocket/root pocket-1/root.gz [misiek@dark new15]$ gzip -d pocket-1/root.gz [misiek@dark new15]$ file pocket-1/root pocket-1/root: Minix filesystem, 30 char names [misiek@dark new15]$
Also when I mount this minix image file and I wrote something to files in this image I got: Mar 14 21:48:32 dark kernel: m_n_i: allocated inode is within quota but file was saved properly.
Moreover - sometimes (kernel 2.3.51) when I'm mounting that minix image kernel simply hangs - no Opps - just stops responding (results are similar to situation when you remove your base libc.so library).
