Hi, everybody!
I'd like to say that we do have one genuine Intel motherboard where kernels newer than 2.2.14 (2.2.15preX and ALL 2.3.xx) does not boot. They crash just before "Partition test". The oops seems to be of no help, 'coz they do point to a blue sky, but here it is from 2.2.15pre9 with devfs:
=== Cut === ksymoops 0.7c on i686 2.2.15pre9. Options used -V (specified) -K (specified) -L (specified) -o /lib/modules/kernel/2.2.15pre9 (specified) -m /boot/System.map-2.2.15pre9 (specified)

The very same OOPS is generated with e.g. 2.3.36. One can just substitute all c1273 ocurrances with c14fb and change the only 00001000 with 00001187. The rest is exactly the same.
The very same kernels do boot without a hiss on another machines.
Any ideas?
P.S. The motherboard is built around i82443BX chipset. All relevant information is available on request.
