Subject[2.3.46-7 and previous 2.3.4x] ramdisk/initrd broken

Hi to all.

When I compile and run a floppy with 2.3.46-7, loading and running initrd
doesn't work.

Messages :
RAMDISK: Compressed image found at block 0

kernel BUG at block_dev.c:426!
[and EIP points to bdput+41]

I know there is a patch for previous versions (B.D.Elliot, Richard B.
Johnson), but somewhere in the 40's this patch doesn't work anymore.

Does anybody have an actual patch for rd.c and block_dev.c ?

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / kind regards

Frank Bernard
