Subjectspurious 8259A interrupt?
Periodically, I get the following error with the 2.4.0test9 kernel:

spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7.

I did not receive this error with the 2.0.36 kernel that came stock on my
slack installation. However, 2 things have been changed; I configured the
PAS16 to use IRQ7 (I don't recall its exact configuration, so I *roughly*
guessed) and I configured the cdrom drive in the system, a CR-522.

I'll try and post all relevant information, since I don't know what is
important here (and it could just be a simple configuration error.)
Still, unless I'm mistaken, isn't an 8259A a UART, which should be related
to the serial port? Seems odd it would show up on IRQ 7...

DanL
