The problem I think is that this isn't a true MVP3. An MVP should have a 82C586b (usually rev 4), and an 82C598. Some motherboard vendors decided to use 82C586's instead of 598's, which results in a half VP3, half MVP3 board. These boards usually have big problems trying to do AGP x2 as well.
