Is it me, or does pci=reverse not work in kernel 2.3.40? I have promise card, and it works fine with 2.2 kernels with pci=reverse, but the drive letters change to as if pci=reverse were not working with 2.3.40.
I have boot first off offboard card selected too, just like before.
