HI All, I'm not sure if this is the place to raise this issue about configuring the ISDN card but I'll try anyway or if some could point me in the right direction. Thanks to all those who helped me I finally found out my card was a Datalink but that is as far as I managed to get. I managed to lay my hands on some drivers for the dynalink card built against 2.2.12. I tried to load these using modprobe hisax but this just comes pack with
/lib/modules/2.2.12/misc/isdn.o: init_module: Device or resource busy isdn: No such file or directory
however dmesg shows
ISDN subsystem Rev: 1.86/1.72/1.88/1.49/1.16/1.2 HiSax: Linux Driver for passive ISDN cards HiSax: Version 3.3 (kernel) HiSax: Layer1 Revision 2.34 HiSax: Layer2 Revision 2.19 HiSax: TeiMgr Revision 2.13 HiSax: Layer3 Revision 2.10 HiSax: LinkLayer Revision 2.31 HiSax: Approval certification valid HiSax: Approved with ELSA Quickstep series cards HiSax: Approval registration numbers: HiSax: German D133361J CETECOM ICT Services GmbH HiSax: EU (D133362J) CETECOM ICT Services GmbH HiSax: Approved with Eicon Technology Diva 2.01 PCI cards HiSax: Total 1 card defined HiSax: Card 1 Protocol 1TR6 Id=HiSAX (0) HiSax: Support for ISDNLink Card not selected HiSax: Card ISDNLink not installed !
I have read the all the documentation I can find such as the documents bundleed with the soure code and also the FAQ supplied with isdn4k-utils. Can anyone help or pointme somewhere more appropiate to point this question? TIA
Rus
