Kernel 2.3.18 BUG Report (In function `hfs_do_write')

When compiling standard kernel 2.3.18, as well as with ac's patches, with
hfs and MacOS partition support I get this error:

ld -m elf_i386 -T /usr/src/linux-2.3.18/arch/i386/vmlinux.lds -e stext

If hfs and MacOS partition support are not selected kernel compiles fine.

Under this kernel compilation I was not using any pgcc's flag
optimization.
