So, how many times has the author submitted a unified diff against the
current kernel, and sent it to this list and/or Linus?

I must say, that *I* have never noticed it on this list (of course, I
could have missed it.)

Linus can not possibly hunt down good patches and integrate them himself;
he has to get finished diffs against the current kernels.

I suggest you hold back further comments until Linus returns, and can
