I had the same problem with Geek.NET (dual PII-400/256mb/RH6.0) and had to step back down to 2.2.10 to get a stable system (up for 4 days now, no problems). From what I've seen and heard about this, it seems limited to SMP machines and maybe be specific to RH6.0-based systems.
