SubjectISSUE: 2.2 Logitech bus mouse not working
Somewhere between version 2.0.36 and 2.2.10, the Logitech bus mouse
driver seems to have stopped working.

The busmouse module seems to load, but the IRQ does not appear in the
kernel's interrupt list, the device replies that it is temporarily
unavailable (rather than try again, the error prior versions gave), and
gpm (the VT mouse driver) does not show any response. A test with X
configured for the Logitech pointer gives strange results.

There are a series of attachments for interested parties to browse. I
would like to get the busmouse going again, as I have a use for the
serial port that a cheapo mouse is now using.

Here is the output from ver_linux:

This sound card may not be fully Sound Blaster Pro compatible.
In many cases there is another way to configure OSS so that
it works properly with OSS (for example in 16 bit mode).
Please ignore this message if you _really_ have a SB Pro.
