Because it did not happen until I removed my Adaptec 2940 card (and
drivers) and put in a SYM53c800 card in using the sym driver.

The odd thing is that the sym driver worked fine while in 2.2.10 but
started to get the PYXIS errors when in 2.2.11pre2.
