What does /proc/mtrr look like for these machines?
The 3rd machine has a bios option for 64/512mb cachable. Ok, I changed that to 512 from 64. Computer 3 went from 20 minutes to about 12.5 minutes. Still slower than computer 2 which has a slightly faster chip, but computer 3 has 2 chips. There is no /proc/mtrr even though I have mtrr compiled in. Any reason why that is?
