Subject2.2.1 bug?

Some time after I tried to mount an invalid partition, kernel
2.1.1 seems to crash. This has happened two times (although
last time was with 2.2.0) For some reason Apache and Samba
were still working. I used magic SysRq to unmount and reboot.
