I implemented the fix Pascal Dupuis suggested and have put the new patch online: <http://www.nl.linux.org/~riel/patches/schedule-bigpatch-2.2.5-2>
Since this is a good patch for the D.Net people, I've announced it on the rc5des list again, but followups over other and new features should probably not go to their list...
