SubjectAcard 6710 SCSI controler problem with kernel 2.2.x
hello!
first, sorry for my bad english :(

Here is my hardware:

motherboard: Biostar MB-8433UUD
grafic: Biostar voodoo/rush
hd: IBM-DTTA-350840 (IDE)
scsi: acard scsi-3 671x
scsi cdrw: matashita


When i compile the kernel with acard scsi support the scsi controler and
the cdrom was detected correctly, but after this, the computer hangs at the
harddisk partitions check.

Patition check:
hda:


when i compile the acard scsi support as module, the computer hangs after
the insmod command.

in the 2.0.37pre kernel it works fine.
