Just tried this on a telnet through a pissy 28.8k modem :

echo "+++"; sleep 3

The connection's still fine.

I tried pasting +++ really quickly at the modem on said connection
and it's stillf ine (infact I just did it here).

Linux kinder 2.2.2pre1-piiv3-crypto-1 #15 Sat Feb 6 15:47:46 EST 1999 i686 unknown

(kerneli patch + the piii/xeon/pii patch if you wanna know :)

pppd version 2.3 patch level 5
