I've changed the help, and I've fixed some bugs. A new beta version is availabe at www.colorfullife/manfred.
It's stable on my computer, compiles for SMP & the ramdisk can be compiled as a module.
I've split the patch into 2 parts: the 2 new kernel functions and the ramdisk.
