Subjectpost 2.1.125 kernels die in time_init() -- ideas ?
Date
From
I have a Genuine Intel Pentium 75+ in an olivetti M6 640 Suprema trying to run
2.2.2 which appears to fall over in "time_init();" in "start_kernel(void)"
with a "divide error: 0000" -- Alan Cox suggested that someone on this list
might be able to help ... It works OK under 2.1.125, but not 2.1.127 .. 2.2.2
-- ideas ?
HACKing init/main.c so as to call console_init just before time_init() I get:
