1. #!/bin/sh ifconfig eth0:0 192.168.100.1 ifconfig eth0:1 192.168.100.2 ifconfig eth0:2 192.168.100.3 ifconfig eth0:3 192.168.100.5 ifconfig eth0:4 192.168.100.100
This adds 5 virtual interfaces. OK so far.
2. ifconfig eth0:0 down
This removes ALL virtual interfaces! If I try to remove eth0:1 it wil remove only eth0:1 and leave others up.
2.2.1ac5 (not time at the moment to test non-ac kernel), eth0 is not from 192.168.100.* net.
