Subject64GB RAM Curiousity Project

Are there any living projects to add massive memory support to x86 Linux?
Specifically, the Intel (36-bit) physical address space extensions.

If not, I would just like to state that if someone feels like lending a
machine with 64GB, hell, even 8GB of RAM to myself, I would be more than
happy to write the patches needed to support it in Linux. :)
