Subjectnosmp crash...
Date
From

Hi,

My Dual Celeron system crashes the keyboard/PS2 interfaces when I boot
the kernel with the nosmp commandline argument. I get enough time to
login, but just after that, they keyboard/mouse freeze, and I can't do
anything with the console anymore. The machine works fine over the
network...

"Adobe Acrobat" crashes on my "new" system, and I was wondering if
that was SMP related. Anybody see that?

It seems I can't run single-processor anymore. (hmm. I'll recompile my
kernel without SMP soon.)

Roger.
