And so it goes. It bounces between 10baseT and 100baseTx-FD. The numeric constants don't change after the second line. It didn't come back in 3 minutes so I did ifconfig eth0 don; ifconfig eth0 up and it works again. Have not had this problem for a while so it must be the new
The card is Accton EN1207. Uptime is 2 days. No heavy network activity, just normal nntp reading. IDE CD writing started about the same time. Next CD writing did not cause the same problems (as expected). K6-200, UP kernel.
