Subject[2.3.23] can't boot SMP kernel on UP x86
Hi,

I can't get 2.3.23 SMP to boot on a ThinkPad 560x. It dies just after
Uncompressing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel. I've tried both zImage
and bzImage targets, same result. UP kernels boot fine, although the
memory line is funny. 2.2.13 SMP also boots fine.

Any ideas/debugging suggestions? I'm attaching the dmesg output from
2.3.23 UP, 2.2.13 SMP and the .config for 2.3.23 SMP.

Thanks,
Borislav
