I seem to recall Martin Mares submitting a patch killing off /proc/pci,
which Linus rejected. The following kernel featured some updated IDs,
and some new code to handle the reformatted list.

I believe Martin is working on a script to convert his pci.ids into a
form that the kernel code understands..
