SubjectLinux/alpha hanging 2.2.0-pre4?
Date
From

I've been running Linux 2.2.0-pre4 for a few days now, *without* *modules*
and it is holding up pretty well. This is very good, indeed. It seems that
if I have a module loaded, any module, it will arrange to deadlock or
otherwise lock tight.

So it seems that Linux 2.2.0 isn't stable with loadable modules, at least
not on the PC164. Any evidence to the contrary?
