My system has 40M RAM, but even under load, 2.2.0 kernels prefer to swap pages, rather than trim cache, which doesn't go below 20M. This seem to be broken. I can't see any effect of setting /proc/sys/vm/pagecache to however low values I tried. What can I check else? -- Best regards, -- Boris.
