This is on an IBM ThinkPad 380XD The PCMCIA card reports RAVEN CD-Note 4X I can insert the MegaHertz modem card and all is fine, but when I insert the scsi card I get a hard lockup. It reports memory clean at 0xa0000000-0xa0ffffff The logs show that sd_mod sr_mod and scsi_mod have loaded, but when it starts to load qlogic_cs, it hangs solid and I have to power off to restart. If I insert the modem card first, the e2fsck tells me to reboot immediately :) I boot from a rescue disk and run e2fsk and it finds an orphaned pid. If I insert the scsi card first, it hangs the same way, but e2fsck cleans things up. So, it appears the the qlogic driver is not supporting CardBus controllers. Any suggestions for a new scsi card? Or a fix? -- Garst - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-kernel" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.rutgers.edu Please read the FAQ at http://www.tux.org/lkml/faq.html | ||||||||||||
