If NFS was working, then I could actually use the 2.1.120.... The NFS server still works, the client does not. Error message: > # modprobe nfs > /lib/modules/2.1.120/misc/sunrpc.o: unresolved symbol checksignals > sunrpc: No such file or directory > sunrpc: No such file or directory
I wrote: > insmod: /lib/modules/2.1.119/misc/sb.o: too many values for dma (max 1) Fixed, changed dma=blah,blah into dma=blah dma16=blah in conf.modules
> Should I make new ptys with mknod or something? Also fixed, installed and used a new MAKEDEV script, the one I had was _very_ old. Thanks to Alan Cox for help.
