If I am not mistaken, the mem leaks Alan Cox mention was in the bridging codes,
and all he said was he might take a look at it, ie, no promise of fixing
anything.

I don't know if Alan Cox has fixed the mem leaks or not, I've ask the same
question here earlier and nobody answered.
