I receintly reinstalled linux onto one of my computers here, unfortunately I'm having a strange problem. Whenever I run 'man' from with the X environment (xfree86) my mouse(serial) locks. The lock continues until the X system is shutdown; the system restarted. After hearing of conflictions with gpm; i removed it; same problem.
This problem didn't exist just before i reinstalled the same version of linux onto the same system; i'm a bit baffeled..
Debian system; Kernel 2.1.103-118
