As I told several times, I would be more than happy to hand smbfs to
someone else. I was in the middle of exporing ways to integrate the
(IMHO) necessary kernel changes decently into smbclient, when my final
exams surprisingly came very near... Then I had to stop working on
that and since then I did not find the time to fix it.
