Hi,
I have some problems with amdk6-2, MVP3 and linux. Before pointing my finger at my vendor, I want to make sure it isn't a problem of linux. The problems are: - I get two kernel errors in my /var/log/messages file after a boot: kernel: Error seeking /dev/kmem kernel: Error in adding module table entry - A signal 11 when compiling a new version of the egcs compiler.
These problems could be a result of hardware failure, but test programs for DOS don't show errors. Besides these cases, the system runs great.
My questions are:
Could these described problems be a result of poorly support of linux for my hardware?
