Subjectno FAT or VFAT in 2.0.34(slackware 3.5)
Hi

I have been using slackware 3.4 for sometime and have re-compiled the
kernel(2.0.33) many times to get sound support etc etc..I have just
changed to slackware 3.5 and now when I try and re-compile kernel 2.0.34
I don't seem to get the option to include FAT of VFAT support. I get all
the others (HFS HPFS etc etc). And as a resoult I carn't mount any dos
drives.

Could someone point me in the right direction?

The FAT and VFAT files DO exist in the modules/fs directory of kernel
source.

FAT and VFAT work fine with the kernel I installed at Installation time
but that dosn't have sound and zip drive support.

Any idea's

Andrew
