Just starting up X and sometimes Netscape on a clean system (my personal
one goes off every night for verious reasons) I sometimes have less than
20 meg free out of 128. This usually is about 90 meg free. Below is an
output with a few daemons (standard with redhat minus several), X, and
Netscape running. You will notice that I am 48 pages into swap while
the buffers are still around 63 Meg... sounds like a memory leak.
I believe I have seen this same inconsistent behaviour (possibly a
memory leak) on 2.1.122. It just seems to be an aweful lot more rare.
