It has been brought up by myself, and others in the past, about support for UDMA on the TX-Pro chipset. I had looked on the net for datasheets for this chipset, and ended up on a useless webpage at acer labs in Tiawan. I turned up nothing.
I'm thus wondering if anyone else has turned up the datasheets, and perhaps silently added the code needed for UDMA on this chipset into the kernel. If not, has anyone created a patch that adds proper support. I've received a few patches from people in the past that supposedly allow UDMA on this chipset, but in an unsafe manner. After much thought I decided against trying it out.
I'd certainly like to try proper support out though, if someone can point me to a patch, or whatever. Does the latest "Jumbo" patch contain support for TX-PRO?
Thanks in advance, TTYL
