OK, i've applied your patch and got strange results: first time i run Richards prog i got 4us. All next values were 6us. I reboot the machine and the result was the same! I'm afraid i don't understand what exactly the patch does. At first glance only the sequence of lines is changed - so what? Or there is some relatione between "fnsave" and setting task switch bit?
