Yes, happens to me too. The funny thing is that it
only happens sometimes. So it's certainly not the
dynamically linked /sbin/init.
I can quite reliably reproduce this behaviour by
rebuilding the XFree86 binary RPMS. If I do this
2 times in a row, the reboot will not go cleanly.
Somehow this smells like a stale reference
hanging around somewhere. I suspect it is a kernel
problem unmasked by the ext2 changes in 2.1.120.

Is there a way to find out what exactly makes the kernel
think that the device is busy?
