    SubjectRe: debugging patch for ide-cd/isofs
It actually looks like Bill Hawes patch solved my problems with PPP and
CDROM at the same time. Wasn't that just a debug patch? Obviously not :)

This is the output in dmesg anyway:

    isofs_read_super: blocksize=0, using 1024
    cdrom_do_packet_command: dma set to 0
    isofs_read_super: last session start=0
    cdrom_start_read: dma set to 0
    cdrom_read_intr: dma is 0
    cdrom_read_intr: dma is 0
    isofs_read_super: read block=32, blksize=1024
    isofs_read_super: saving pri, pri_bh=c34631e0, pri=c3421000
    cdrom_start_read: dma set to 0
    cdrom_read_intr: dma is 0
    cdrom_read_intr: dma is 0
    isofs_read_super: read block=34, blksize=1024

    isofs_read_super: found sec, bh=c3463360, sec=c3592000

    ISOFS: changed to secondary root
    isofs_read_super: checking disk change
    cdrom_do_packet_command: dma set to 0

    Thanks.
