SubjectALI Alladin V Chipset
The ALI Alladin V chipset works okay for me
under Linux, but there is no IDE DMA support.
(can someone email me an explanation of
what a simplex IDE device is? I can't find one
anywhere. I have my guesses, but...)

Is this something that can be added, or should
I exchange my motherboard (a Gigabyte GA-5AX)
for one with an VIA MVP3 chipset?

Thanks.
