Enough sites have said OK either use a virtual host or put a symlink
in their root directory (the proposed URL is
{http://www,ftp://ftp}.<region>.mirror.kernel.org/kernel.org) that I
think this is doable. I just need to get a small cluster of cycles to
open the registry.
