I'm assuming you have an MSP3430G audio processor on your card like I do.
If not, your milage (or kilometer-age I suppose for .de) may vary.

Step one, download the latest xawtv.
Step two, go to the bttv/experimental dir and change the Makefile to
uncomment the -DRESET_HAUPPAUGE (or something like that).
Step three, compile the experimental driver and install it.
Step four, compile the latest xawtv and install it.

You should now be able to get sound.
