The options in the Makefile are a bit too difficult for my taste too. Probably will be improved when I can spend more time on developing CIPE in the future. Else it's mostly "make install and modprobe", or what exactly is difficult?
So far the biggest non-integrability problem with CIPE is that it can't work under 2.1. The stuff in output.c and sock.c digs deeply into kernel structures which have fundamentally changed. But I want to port that anyway (probably start fresh from kernel's ipip.c and forward-port the additions I've made).
It would be great to have some sort of docs that explain the differences between 2.0 and 2.1 netdevices. There are so many driver authors who all had to do these updates, there must be something like this ;-) olaf
