I recently installed redhat 5.1.
It booted with lilo with no problem...
But whenver I add something into /boot (either 2.0.35 or 2.1.*) it starts to load it and then I get a "crc error".
They run fine from loadlin...
My lilo.conf is minimal, it looks like: leisner@compudyne;cat /etc/lilo.conf boot=/dev/hdb5 map=/boot/map install=/boot/boot.b prompt timeout=50 image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.0.34-0.6 label=linux root=/dev/hdb5 initrd=/boot/initrd-2.0.34-0.6.img read-only
image=/boot/zimage-2.0.35 label=2.0.35 root=/dev/hdb5 read-only
image=/boot/zimage-2.1.112 label=new root=/dev/hdb5 read-only
